    Hello there.
I’ve been playing smooth operators on the xbox, and i adore it :)
I used to play simtower and simant as a little kid and it brings back so many great memories.

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to say this though, but are you aware of a glitch which happens with the flowtubes?

On both of my flowtubes, i have janitors stuck in them, and it means i can’t decontrct them to build the teleporters.

    According to this review http://clearancebinreview.com/2012/09/15/indie-games-uprising-iii-review-smooth-operators-call-center-choas/
it appears i am not the only person who has encountered it.

This is the only glitch i noticed, other than that the game seems as solid as a rock and the best fun I’ve had with an indie game in a long long time!
    Well done :)

      Hi!
Thanks, I’m glad you like the game!

About the glitch, yes, i am aware of it. There is a fix coming out in a couple of days to take care of this. The fix also takes care of a few other issues.

    Hi,

I picked up the X360 version of the game after seeing it on Indie Gala and liking it so far, just a few of bits of feedback:

    1. Why do the worker schedules seem so random and why can’t they be modified properly? It seems I can only do 5 minute increments and cannot move the lunch break. This means I have people starting at 1 minute or 3 minutes past rather than a bunch all starting at the same time.

    2. Again with the schedule… it may be easier to edit if holding down the up or down button scrolled through times rather than needing to hammer away at the button to change times.

    3. An overview screen of worker’s thoughts/moods could be helpful to see where problems are, especially when you end up with lots of workers.

I’ve had some fun with it tonight and will come back to it tomorrow but thought I’d let you know these things I’ve noticed.

    Matt

      Hi,
      1. The schedules tries to differ a bit so things dont get too crowded in the beginning.
      2. This is included in the bugfix for xbox coming out shortly, and already available in the IndieGala Edition.
      3. I’ve heard this before, and it’s included in my planned features list.

      Thanks for getting in touch!

  3. For people with the indie gala edition, will they receive the game on steam when / if it is greenlighted?

I’m sure it’s been suggested a lot already, but having a list of employees that you can view / edit even when they’re not in the office would be very useful.

If you got it through IndieGala, and ask for a Steam key, then yes i will give you one.
About the list of emps, its on the list of stuff to put in there. The indiegala edition is not a feature complete pc game (feature creeping a bit here).
